Stanford Federal Credit Union Selects Teres Solutions SAIL Software to Automate Lending Programs
Internet Pioneer to Use the SAIL(TM) Software to Improve Direct and Indirect Lending Processes and Expedite Loan Approvals for Members and Dealers

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 11, 2006--Teres Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of direct and indirect lending software to financial institutions, today announced that Stanford Federal Credit Union (SFCU) has selected the SAIL (Software Application for Integrated Lending) solution to manage and automate its lending programs. SFCU will be using SAIL software to manage and automate decisions for both its indirect and direct loan applications. SFCU's consumer volume has tripled in the past twelve months, largely from an increase in indirect loan applications. VP of Operations, Keith Troup, decided that SFCU needed a lending system that could accept all its loan applications electronically and help automate approval processes. Because SAIL Indirect interfaces with the DealerTrack network, SFCU will now be able to electronically receive and process the applications, providing a faster and more efficient way to respond with loan approvals.

SAIL software is also helping to automate SFCU's direct loan processes and provide better reports for management. More than 85 percent of SFCU direct borrowers apply for loans online. SAIL software's automated loan application approval processes ensures that SFCU borrowers get near instant answers.

"Our indirect lending program has grown significantly and our web site continues to be the number one place our members go to when applying for a loan on their own," said Keith Troup. "With SAIL software and its integration with the DealerTrack network and our web site, we're able to electronically receive and respond to all loan applications and handle the larger volume without having to increase our internal staff."

Teres Solutions SAIL software products are used by some of the nation's most successful credit unions and financial institutions to automate their indirect and direct lending processes. The SAIL software products significantly reduce the time it takes to review loan applications, request and review credit reports, enter data into core systems, make lending decisions and quickly respond to dealers and members. With SAIL software, not only is the lending process more efficient, but existing staff can be more productive by focusing on improving yields through new member acquisition or sales of add-on services. Key features of the SAIL family of products include:

  • Electronic integration with the RouteOne and DealerTrack finance platforms for automobile dealerships
  • Seamless integration with major credit union core systems, including Summit, Symitar and ULTRADATA, Users, and XP
  • Automated lending decisions through the SAIL Autopilot module
  • Sophisticated real time reporting
  • Browser-based technology for rapid deployment and maintainability; while hosted from within the credit union's infrastructure for greater security and control
  • Intuitive user dashboard
  • Roles-based security features
  • Automated credit checking
  • Application history lookup
  • Federal regulation compliance
  • Automatic dealer response generation
  • Direct forms integration with almost any form, including Loanliner forms as well as custom forms
  • Integration with NADA
  • Integration with Auto Financial Group for balloon loans
  • Integration with Loanliner.com for member & non-member direct loan origination

"SFCU is a pioneer in using cutting-edge technology and the Internet to make lending more efficient and better for its members and internal staff," said Bruce Callen, president of Teres Solutions Inc. "The credit union's decision to use SAIL software to handle all aspects of its growing lending programs is a testament to the powerful and advanced capabilities the SAIL family of solutions provides to leading credit union and financial institutions around the country."
